Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, comfortable daytime environment where seniors can have their social, mental, emotional, physical, and recreational needs met. Almost all of our participants come to feel that Care Link is the “right” place for them to be each day. They look forward to being part of a community where they are loved and appreciated, where they can still offer themselves as a resource to others. Our staff treats participants with the respect that every adult deserves.

A major secondary goal of our program is to give caregivers some much needed respite. Being the soul caregiver for someone we love is an honor, and it is also an intensely difficult job. Caregivers desperately need to work, run errands, attend to other family members, take care of themselves, in addition to managing the full time job of caring for their loved one. They need to feel like their wife or father are in good hands and enjoying themselves. In the long run, our participants are able to stay home longer because our program helps caregivers maintain their own emotional balance and physical health (See Family Caregiver Statistics for information about the effect of stress on caregivers health and work).
