Enjoying the Weather
Our Specialized adult day program's purpose is to provide a stimulating and loving environment focused on nurturing each individual. Care Link has a homelike atmosphere that supports the participant's physical, emotional, and recreational needs.
Our participants enjoy getting out of the house for the day. At Care Link, they have safe place to visit with friends. If they want, they can contribute to the community in meaningful ways such as reading to others, wiping tables, or visiting with pets and children. We also have seated exercise every morning. Please see the Example Activities page for more activities. At the end of a satisfying day, participants are happy to come home, relaxed and ready for a good nights sleep.
The experienced staff is educated about age-related challenges such as Alzheimer's and other types of dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's. They are especially comfortable easing anxieties associated with memory loss. They are trained in offering safe physical assistance in ambulation and toileting. Most importantly, they treat participants with the dignity and respect that every adult deserves.
